Teaching with GeoGebra

GeoGebra is a great tool for teaching mathematics. In designing or using an applet, it would be good to consider the following questions:

What mathematics will students learn from this applet?

What questions will you ask them?

What misconceptions can it address?

What are the difficulties students might encounter here?

You can find more applets in this link.

I love to develop mathematical tasks and activities that involve basic mathematics concepts but have the potential to engage both teachers and students in higher level thinking. I am particularly interested in students’ learning trajectories of big ideas in number, algebra, geometry, and in the use of GeoGebra in learning mathematics. More. Email: linesronda@gmail.com
